Multimix Academy gets CILT accreditation for another three years

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), Nigeria on Thursday presented a certificate of re accreditation to Multimix Academy, in Lagos.

CILT Nigeria National Vice President, Ibrahim Jibrin, while presenting the certificate to the Chief Executive Officer of Multimix, Obiora Madu, said the academy has done very as a training provider for the institute.
“Multimix has done wonderfully well. In fact, they are one of the top rated training providers for CILT in Nigeria and since Nigeria enjoys top rating among member countries in the world, that means Multimix is rated very high in the world among training providers also,” he said.
He the symbolic presentation of the certificate was in-line with the institute’s global slogan, ‘Onward Together’.
“This shows that with our training providers being accredited and performing their roles effectively, the institute will come out stronger with all its supporting institutions.
“It is important that we maintain consistency in the pursuit of the main object clause of the institute, particularly as regards training and education of members with specific reference to students.
“On the 1st January 2014, Nigeria acquired its territorial status and moved from being a branch to a territory. We attribute this milestone to our growing membership level as well as the impressive leap in the training by our training providers which you are in the top list,” Jibrin stated.
In his response, Madu said he was elated to have his academy reaccredited by CILT.
“Getting this reaccreditation is a welcome development and the fact that there was accreditation and reaccreditation means that we are doing well.
“Ranked among the top in their training providers, as they have said showed what we are known for in the academy that when quality is not in it, then we are not involved.”
The Multimix Academy boss said CILT is one of the numerous institutes that have accredited the academy over the years.

Also speaking during the brief symbolic certificate presentation ceremony, National Executive Director of CILT Nigeria, Francis Ehiguese, said the academic qualifications awarded by the institute have been evaluated by the Federal Ministry of Education.
“The diploma of the institution is equivalent to National Diploma while the Advance Diploma of the institute is equivalent to Higher National Diploma,” he said.
Ehiguese also called for collaboration among major transport and logistics stakeholders.
